A MAN was arrested in Street after being suspected of possessing class B drugs.
Avon & Somerset Police Constable Bennett detained the person during “proactive patrols”, with the suspect searched, arrested and taken to custody, where he was charged and bailed to Yeovil Magistrates Court.
“Your Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue carrying out targeted patrols and responding to concerns raised by local residents,” a police spokesperson said. “Your information really does help us take action.”
They urged anyone who spots anything suspicious to contact police on 101.
