A MAN was arrested and made the subject of a dispersal order after reports from concerned members of the public in Glastonbury.
Police were called to the High Street this afternoon after “reports regarding the behaviour of the male”.
“Neighbourhood officers attended and arrested a male for failing to disperse from the area when he was requested to do so,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
“There were a number of reports regarding the behaviour of the male before authorisation was given for a Section 34 Dispersal Order.”
A dispersal order requires those identified to leave a specified area. They are often used to disperse gangs congregating in certain areas.
