A MAN was attacked in a taxi by a group of youths in Bath – and police want to hear from anyone with information.
The incident unfolded in Dorchester Street at around 11.30pm on Saturday, January 17.
Though his injuries were “not deemed to be serious”, police said the victim, in his 30s, was left “distressed” and offered access to support services.
“The offenders have been described as a group of young people, a mixture of boys and girls, and we are appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time to come forward,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
“CCTV enquiries have been carried out, we have spoken to witnesses, reassurance patrols have been carried out, and we are now at the stage of appealing to the public for assistance.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting reference number 5226015537, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
