POLICE are keen to trace this person after a burglary at a Taunton hair salon.

Officers investigating the incident, at Bigwigs Hair Salon, in Livingstone Way, have issued a CCTV image of a person they are keen to identify.

The salon was broken into at just after 10.35pm on Sunday, December 22, after an offender smashed a window to get inside.

A till drawer containing cash, as well as other items, including a boxed Fransen Professional Nova X hairdryer, were stolen.

“The man in the image is described as white, with short hair, of stocky build, and he was wearing a grey hooded top, a face covering, dark trousers, black shoes with white soles, and gloves,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

Anyone who recognises the person pictured, or has any information about the burglary, should contact police on 101 and give the reference number 5224408833. They can also contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
