POLICE want to trace this person in connection with a series of burglaries in Wincanton.

The incident, at around 12.20am on September 2, saw three properties off the A303 targeted by a gang of three people, police said.

“We believe the individual pictured may have information which could aid our investigation,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“He is described as white, of slim build, between 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, with short hair. He is shown wearing a waterproof coat, trousers, and slide-on shoes.”

They said individuals broke into three different properties and stole a piece of hand-held machinery during the raids.
