Car removed from the road after fleeing police in Glastonbury

POLICE are continuing to investigate after finding a car which fled officers last week in Glastonbury.

The vehicle, which had no tax, has been traced and impounded, with Avon & Somerset Police now continuing to investigate the circumstances.

“After making off from officers last week in Glastonbury, this vehicle didn’t stay out of sight for long,” a spokesperson said.

“Thanks to some solid teamwork and persistence, the car was located and recovered for having no vehicle tax.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and appropriate action will be taken.”

Anyone with information about the vehicle should contact police on 101.
