POLICE arrested two people in Street after a bus passenger reported being assaulted.
The incident unfolded at around 3.30pm on Friday, April 25, when police were called to Leigh Road.
A man on an incoming buses reported being assaulted and Street and Glastonbury neighbourhood officers attended.
They arrested two people in connection with the assault, an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
“Both persons have been released on bail pending further investigation,” they added.

Meanwhile, on the same day, police were called to reports of a drunk male in Magdalene Street, Glastonbury.
When they arrived, the man allegedly assaulted a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) and was arrested.
He has since been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
