A MAN has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Weston-Super-Mare which left the victim in hospital.
The incident unfolded in Ashcombe Road at around 3.15am on Thursday (May 15), police said, amid reports of a man with knife injuries.
On Saturday (May 17), officers arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder and he remains in police custody.
“Enquiries are ongoing and officers continue to carry out additional patrols in the area,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
The victim remains in hospital in stable condition.
