A MAN has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from cars and vans in Weston-Super-Mare.
Police officers from the Bournville Neighbourhood Team said the arrest came after a spate of thefts in recent days, with a suspect now in custody.
“We have recovered a number of items from this male which we believe to be stolen but unreported and do not have owners to return to,” a police spokesperson said.
People are being encouraged to view photographs of seized items and to contact officers via SomNorthNPTBournvilleOne@avonandsomerset.police.uk to claim, or if they have any information, “with any details/serial numbers that would assist us in our enquiries”.
They added the tools were not the only items recovered, and urged victims of thefts in recent days to report it online at avonandsomerset.police.uk/report.
