A 25-YEAR-old man has been charged with production of drugs after cannabis was seized from a Wellington address.
Police said a quantity of the drug was seized from the property, in Sylvan Road, after officers attended the address on August 21.
Armando Abazi, of no fixed address, was arrested and subsequently charged with production of a class B drug.
He appeared at North Somerset Courthouse on Friday (August 23), where Abazi was remanded into custody ahead of a hearing at Taunton Crown Court on Friday, September 20.
“If you suspect someone is using, dealing or growing drugs in your neighbourhood, please report it to us as this enables us to take proactive action,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
