EFFORTS are underway to identify a dead man found on a Somerset beach.
Avon & Somerset Police is treating the death, of a man believed to be between 40 and 60 years old, as “unexplained”.
The body is understood to have been found by a member of the public on Lilstock Beach, near Bridgwater, at around 11.50am on Saturday (December 28).
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, pending the outcome of a forensic post-mortem examination,” a police spokesperson said.
