DUNELM in Yeovil is re-opening tomorrow – and we got a sneak peek at what customers can expect.
The store, at the Quedam Centre, closed in September last year after a fire destroyed part of the building’s roof.
While staff have been employed elsewhere – including in a click-and-collect outlet in the town – work has been taking place to bring the 24,000 sq ft shop back to life.
Now, it is ready for shoppers – and includes new departments, a new look, and a new café.
Ahead of the opening, store coach Kelly Warnock said: “Re-opening our Yeovil store is a really special moment for all of us.
“The fire was devastating for our team and for the community, and it’s been a long journey to get to this point.

“While our colleagues were redeployed to nearby stores, we’ve all been looking forward to the day we could come back home and work together again.”
The first 100 customers through the doors of the new-look Dunelm Yeovil will receive a special goody-bag, while 20 golden tickets will also be hidden around the store, containing vouchers ranging from £5 to £20.
During your Leveller’s early peak at the store, we checked out new departments including the new made-to-measure department and the Pausa Café, offering a range of tasty treats for those hard at work Christmas shopping.
