THE sweet smell of success could be in the air for the buyer of a Somerset food business.
Grown Up Marshmallows, based at 51 The Avenue, Minehead, has been put up for sale, with an asking price of £25,000.
The business produces a range of “handmade, gourmet” marshmallows, with flavours including Just Gin, Sicilian lemon and summer fruit available, and caters for events such as weddings and parties.
It is being marketed by Wilkie May & Tuckwood, who described the business as “thriving”, with a turnover expected to hit £120,000 in 2025/26.
“A thriving confectionary business established in 2015 producing traditional and vegan gourmet marshmallows for weddings, corporate events and retail with a purchaser acquiring a healthy portfolio of contacts and the potential to develop into franchise ready to roll out,” the listing said.
“This is an ideal opportunity for a bolt-on opportunity or a first time buyer looking to develop an existing strong business,” it added.
