Taunton GTH property team scoops gold award – as leader says ‘market is fine’

A TAUNTON property team has clinched gold at a national awards.

The Hammet Street-based residential sales team at Greenslade Taylor Hunt (GTH) picked up a gold in The British Property Awards, which ranks estate agents across the country – with an emphasis on customer service.

Now, the Taunton team has been shortlisted for a number of national awards.

A spokesperson said the success came no surprise amid recent five-star Google reviews.

One vendor wrote: “This is the second time we’ve used GTH for a sale and they remain a great choice. I like their honesty and transparency, but most of all I’ve been really impressed by the rather wonderful sales progressor Bill (William Cosgrove).”

They added: “I have no affiliation, but find the dedicated progressor system extremely effective and efficient. Thank you GTH Taunton and particularly Bill.”

Another customer wrote: “An excellent service throughout. Greenslade Taylor Hunt supported us through both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home.

“To say the purchase was not straight forward would be an understatement! I cannot thank William ‘Bill’ Cosgrove enough, the man is a legend!”

Martyn Venner, partner in charge at the Taunton office, said he was delighted with the feedback and the award, as he reported a positive market in the run up to the festive period.

“It’s been a good month for sales agreed,” he said. “A respectable number of sales agreed at £600,000 and below. This market is moving better than the upper end.

“The market is fine. Properties guided at the right price continue to sell,” he added.
