A FORMER Pizza Hut in Frome could be converted into a tanning salon, if plans are approved.
Boon Brown, on behalf of Consul Ltd, has applied to Somerset Council for permission to change the use of Unit 1 of Enterprise House, at Wessex Fields, from a restaurant to a solarium.
Pizza Hut formerly occupied the premises until it closed in 2020, when the site was taken on by Dough & Co, until 2022.
The plans said: “The ground floor will be occupied by Consol Ltd and operated as a solarium, offering artificial tanning services to the public on an appointment or walk-in basis.”
“Minor external alterations to the front elevation” are also proposed, with the single door being replaced with double doors, the application added.
