A COFFEE shop in Bath has closed down – but could soon return in some form.

Soho Coffee, in Union Street, posted a note on doors this week announcing it was to shut on January 12.

The note, signed from Team Soho, thanked customers for their “loyalty, support and friendship”.

“It’s bittersweet to announce that our Bath store is closing and our last day of operation will be January 12, 2025,” it said.

“We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, support and friendship over the years.”

However, the note then teased customers over what might happen next.

It added: “This isn’t goodbye forever, keep your eyes peeled for an exciting update soon.”

“Thank you for being part of our journey.”

The news comes after Bath was ranked among the top 10 UK locations for coffee lovers by the British Coffee Association.
