A YEOVIL curry house has re-opened after a major refurbishment.
The White Pepper, in Sherborne Road, has also revamped the menu, promising “a refined, flavour-led take on Indian cuisine, inspired by Kerala”.
“Located in the heart of Yeovil, the intimate 22-cover restaurant offers a culinary experience unlike other traditional curry houses,” a spokesperson said.
“There’s no takeaway service here – instead, guests are treated to a carefully curated menu celebrating the rich and layered flavours of Kerala, South India, where the restaurant’s owners originate.”
The White Pepper team is led by Chef Louis, who has more than two decades’ experience working with renowned chefs around the world.

Chef Louis said dishes at The White Pepper are “crafted from scratch using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients”.
The re-opening comes after the success of The White Pepper’s 90-cover flagship restaurant in Weymouth, which has earned a loyal following and attracts guests from across the south west, the owners said.
“We’re so excited to bring The White Pepper experience back to Yeovil,” Chef Louis said.

“The refurbishment reflects that same spirit – elegant, warm, and welcoming. We can’t wait to share it with our guests, both returning and new.”
The White Pepper Yeovil is open Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 9.30pm and Friday and Saturday from noon to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm.
