THE sales building at the Morrisons petrol station in Taunton could be set for an extension.
Plans have been submitted to Somerset Council to extend the current building.
The scheme would see the removal of the air and vacuum facilities alongside the current building, where the extension would be built at the Priory Bridge site.
Planning agent Carney Sweeney, on behalf of the Motor Fuel Group, said the scheme would see the “removal of existing jet wash and (a) proposed extension to the existing sales building, bin store and associated works”.

The application follows on from similar plans for the Morrisons filling station in Wincanton, as well as a scheme that will see the footbridge near the Taunton store refurbished.
