Opening date confirmed for Dunelm in Yeovil as fit-out continues

WORK is progressing on the refurbishment of Yeovil Dunelm – which was destroyed by fire last year.

In August 2024, the roof of the store – in the Quedam Centre – was severely damaged in a blaze.

It has been closed since, though it has partially re-opened as a collection site for online orders.

However, work has been ongoing to bring the shop back to life, with the Quedam now saying it will on December 16.

In an online update, the centre said: “The Dunelm store is coming together beautifully — lighting’s up, flooring’s down, and we’re counting the days until we open on December 16.”

Work on the second phase of refurbishment work at the site was completed in October in preparation for the fit-out, which is now proceeding.
