Landmark pub – a mile from Glastonbury Festival Pyramid Stage – up for sale

A LANDMARK pub which neighbours the site of the Glastonbury Festival is up for rent.

The Apple Tree Inn, on the A361 at West Pennard, near Pilton, has been empty for several months – and is now looking for new tenants.

It sits around a mile from the Pyramid Stage – as the crow flies – and has been a popular outpost for festival workers and attendees in the build-up, during and aftermath of the event, which takes place in June most years.

And it is now being marketed for lease by Sidney Phillips Ltd, with an annual rent of £35,000.

The Apple Tree Inn dates from around 1674 and is a stone building with various extensions, including an eastern wing housing a skittle alley/function room, on a plot of around 0.85 acres.

I am a small event medical company, Dorset and Somerset Medical Services and we provided the medical cover for the Apple Tree Inn Glamping during Glastonbury weak 2024.
We never got paid for our services leaving us 2,000 pounds out of pocket on staff wages.
I am led to believe that’s of the other subcontractors were also never paid.
There is now yet another company in corsham Wiltshire called yertal you are now ripping people off for thousands.
