RESTAURANT chain Bill’s has confirmed it is opening at Clarks Village before Christmas.

The firm said the venue will boast a restaurant, a café, and a bar, offering everything from full meals to cocktails – as previously reported by your Somerset Leveller.

“We’re excited to join the Clarks Village family and kick off our first new opening in four years—right here in such a fab, well-loved area,” a spokesperson said.

“So, swing by Bill’s Clarks Village for good food and even better vibes. We can’t wait to see you.”

Majority shareholder in Bill’s, Richard Caring, said: “We have a winning formula, and the numbers speak for themselves.

“Bill’s has always been a popular brand and we are seeing its full potential being realised with an industry-leading offer and experience.

“With the creation of hundreds of new jobs, and the chance to offer Bill’s experience to more guests across the country, it is a very exciting time for the business.”

Tom James, who was appointed MD of the chain by Caring in October 2022, said: “After an incredible amount of hard work from the team, we are now seeing a continued trend of positive results and feel the time is right to grow.

And Chris Davis, centre director at Clarks Village, welcomed the company.

“We’re thrilled to officially announce that Bill’s restaurant will be joining us at Clarks Village before Christmas, further enhancing our dining offering,” he said.

“2024 has been an incredible year for Clarks Village with a host of popular new brands, store refurbishments and a line-up of fun, memorable events from the summer cinema and Pawsome Pooch dog event to the forthcoming festive ice rink.”

The new Bill’s Café Bar at Clarks Village is one of only two – the other in Milton Keynes – opening before Christmas.
