Top Gun, Shrek and Harry Potter: Clarks Village Summer Cinema films revealed

FROM Top Gun to Frozen, Shrek to The Greatest Showman – the programme at the Clarks Village Summer Cinema promises something for everyone.

Details of which films will be shown at the outdoor screen, in Street, have been revealed.

Screenings run between August 6 and 18, with three screenings each day at the open-air cinema.

Ticket sales are now open, offering films “ranging from blockbusters hits to family favourites and 80s classics”.

The schedule at the Clarks Village Summer Cinema includes:

The cinema is being installed on the lawn of the Alfred Gillett Trust, opposite Clarks Village’s Restaurant Terrace, with the capacity for 300 guests.

Screenings will run at noon, 3.30pm and 7pm each day, with gates opening 45 minutes beforehand.

Food and drink will be on offer at the event and guests are invited to bring their own deckchairs and blankets.

A limited number of pillows and blankets will also be available to hire and can be pre-booked in advance.

Tickets for the Clarks Village Open-Air Cinema are priced from £8 for under 12s, and £12 per adult, with VIP tickets – including a deckchair in a prime position and treat box – on sale for £20.

Each day, the off-peak noon movie will be discounted to £5 per person or £18 for a family ticket. Under ones are free at all times.

Chris Davis, centre director for Clarks Village, said: “We’re incredibly excited to welcome the Open-Air Cinema at Clarks Village.

“We’ve always strived to offer a great day out for guests with discounted shopping at our fantastic mix of designer brands and high street favourites, stunning gardens, places to eat, our adventure play park and line-up of events.

“But with several new brands and restaurants launching and now the addition of our Open-Air Cinema, this summer at Clarks Village promises to be our best yet.”
