SOMERSET is famous for its holiday homes – with millions descending on county sites over the years for a break by the sea, or in the beautiful countryside.
And one holiday home distributor has taken their expertise global – helping launch a new Danny Dyer-fronted series with Sky TV,
Southern Counties Leisure, in Burnham-on-Sea, teamed up with manufacturer Willerby to help promote The Dyers’ Caravan Park, a new Sky series following actor Danny and daughter Dani as they invest in a caravan park on the Isle of Sheppey.
The companies were part of a high-profile publicity event in central London, providing a luxury Willerby holiday home as the venue for media interviews in support of the show, which launches on February 24 on Sky and NOW TV.
The Sky original series former EastEnders star Danny and his daughter, who shot to fame after reality TV appearances and as an influencer, try their hand at investing in and running a holiday park.

“With nostalgia in their hearts and business ambition in their sights, the father-daughter duo dive headfirst into the £7 billion holiday park industry, with the goal of renovating Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park at Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppey, in Kent, aiming to create a place that lives up to Danny’s misty-eyed memories of his favourite childhood holidays,” a spokesperson said.
Burnham’s Southern Counties Leisure provided a Willerby Gainsborough model for the media preview day, housing the Dyers for interviews and filming in Hyde park.
Southern Counties Leisure managing director, Amanda Keen, said: “We’re delighted to be part of the opportunity to promote this new TV series, which celebrates great British holidays and showcases the true quality that holiday homes offer and the enjoyment they bring to all the family.”
Willerby CEO, Peter Munk, said: “Everyone at Willerby is excited about The Dyers’ Caravan Park, as the series will play an important part in promoting caravan holidays, especially to younger audiences.
“It’s particularly timely to be part of such a great opportunity in 2026, during the year in which Willerby celebrates its 80th anniversary and Southern Counties Leisure marks its 30th.”
