LEGENDARY drummer with The Police – Stewart Copeland – will be telling stories from his amazing life in the band and on the road during a show in Somerset.
The star will bring his show, Stewart Copeland: Have I Said Too Much, to the Cheese and Grain in Frome on October 16.
“Demand for tickets for the first leg of this intimate new tour has surpassed my expectations, and I can’t wait to return next year and share the stories of my life with even more fans,” the sticksman said.
Revered as one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, Stewart drove the all-conquering success of The Police during the 70s and 80s, before being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A multi-Grammy award winner, he followed his work with The Police by composing music for soundtracks for Hollywood movies and operas, including scoring Wall Street – starring Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas – and providing the theme to hit 80s TV series, The Equalizer, starring Edward Woodward.
“Once again, an Evening With Stewart Copeland will provide a fascinating insight into his incredible life as a performer, musician, entertainer, and writer,” a spokesperson added.
Stewart is set to appear in Frome on Thursday, October 16, with tickets costing £39 in advance plus a standard service charge. Meet and greet, and VIP tickets are also available via cheeseandgrain.com/events/Stewart-Copeland.
