OLYMPIC cycling legend Sir Bradley Wiggins is hitting the road to Frome next month.
The four-time gold medallist will be at the Cheese and Grain on Thursday, May 29, for An Evening with Bradley Wiggins show.
“Having once held the record for the UK’s most decorated Olympian with eight medals, Bradley Wiggins still holds the world record for being the only person to win an Olympic gold medal and Tour De France in the same year,” a spokesperson said.
“His achievements go far beyond the track. In recognition of his services to sport, he was awarded an OBE in 2005, later elevated to CBE in 2009, and in 2012, he was knighted.

“That same year, he became a household name, winning BBC Sports Personality of the Year, and his bestselling autobiography, My Time, was shortlisted for the British Sports Book Award for Best Autobiography.
“However, it hasn’t been an easy ride. Sir Bradley Wiggins has faced major life-changing challenges throughout his life, both on and off the track.
“Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear firsthand from one of Britain’s greatest sporting icons as he shares the highs, the lows, and everything in between.”
