Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza 2026 called off during festival fallow year

THERE will be no Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza in 2026, organisers have confirmed.

The annual show, at Glastonbury Abbey, is organised by the Glastonbury Festival as a thank you to the town for their support for the event, at nearby Pilton.

In 2025, it boasted a bill headlined by The Script, alongside the likes of Freya Ridings and the Wells Cathedral Oratorio Society.

However, the Abbey has now confirmed the event will not take place this year, which also sees Glastonbury take a fallow year.

“Unfortunately, there will be no Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza taking place this year,” a spokesperson said.

Glastonbury Festival, who produce the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza, have made the decision to take a total fallow year in 2026, meaning neither Glastonbury Festival itself nor the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza will take place.”

However, they said people can still buy tickets to the Night At The Abbey show, featuring live music and DJs, on September 12.
