GAVIN & Stacey star Mathew Horne is heading to Somerset for a special show.

The star, who shot to national fame as Essex boy Gavin Shipman in the hit BBC sitcom, is set to appear at the Taunton Brewhouse theatre on July 31.

For the first time since the show’s record-breaking Christmas finale, the actor will be before audiences in an exclusive ‘in conversation’ event.

“He’ll be chatting with the evening’s host about his unforgettable journey with the hit series, sharing favourite moments, hilarious behind-the-scenes stories, and reflections on how the show has shaped his life both on and off screen,” a Brewhouse spokesperson said.

“The evening will also explore Mathew’s wider body of work, including his much-loved comedy partnership with Catherine Tate and his working relationship with James Corden.

“This evening will be a rare opportunity to see the lead of the nation’s most iconic sitcom in an intimate setting – up close and unscripted.
