TICKETS go on sale tomorrow for the Clarks Village festive ice rink – and early birds can land an extra discount.

Sales start on Wednesday (October 2), and the shopping outlet, in Street, will give an exclusive 15% discount to those booking early.

Featuring real ice, the 550-square-metre ice-skating rink will open on Thursday, November 14, with visitors enjoying the ice until Sunday, January 5. Sessions will take place on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

“The enchanting ice rink is undercover, providing a fun, festive activity in all weathers,” a spokesperson said.

“Located in the stunning grounds of the historic Alfred Gillett Trust, adjacent to the outlet, the ice rink is wheelchair friendly and will have a dedicated entrance within Clarks Village’s restaurant terrace where guests can enjoy a bite to eat or a warming drink after their session.”

Sessions are pre-bookable and include skate hire, with a number of special sessions – including disco skating, quiet sessions, parent and toddler sessions and exclusive hire for private parties – available.

Tickets for ice-skating sessions are priced from £12 for children under 12, £14 for adults and from £44 for a family, with skating aids available to hire for £5 each.

The early-bird discount is available to those booking by Sunday, November 3.

Meanwhile, guests who join PLUS+ – Clarks Village’s new free members reward scheme – can benefit from a discount of 20%.
