IT might 120 days away – but Christmas is already on the agenda at the Bath & West Showground.
The venue, near Shepton Mallet, has announced a programme of festive fun across the Christmas season, promising “cheer, laughter, and great company”.
It gets underway on December 5, with Bad Christmas – the Best Worst Christmas Party. Hosted by Auntie Claus, the show is touted as “a live, interactive dining experience stuffed with chaos, comedy and Christmas carnage”.
“Expect wild performances, outrageous laughs, banging tunes, a two course feast and enough mischief to even make Santa blush,” a spokesperson said.
Next up at the Bath & West is a visit by boxing champion – and I’m a Celebrity star – Tony Bellew, on December 12.
The hard hitter will be hosting a Christmas Punch Party featuring a live performance from The Review and a host of behind-the-scenes stories from the boxing star’s career in the ring and on screen.
On December 13, the venue will host A Great British Christmas, featuring live entertainment, heart-warming Christmas songs, and a cast of dancers, vocalists, speciality acts and musicians.
“Christmas is the season that brings people together and those well-loved Christmas hits never fail to get everyone singing and dancing together in true Christmas spirit,” the spokesperson went on.
“This is the ultimate Christmas-themed show packed with sparkle, song and show stopping talent – bringing fun, good cheer and high spirits to the room.
“Ticket includes delicious festive two-course meal, glass of fizz on arrival and night of incredible entertainment.”
