Arena rockers Black Stone Cherry announce intimate Somerset show

ARENA rockers Black Stone Cherry are heading to Somerset as part of their upcoming UK tour.

The band, famed for landmark sets at the legendary Download Festival as well as supporting the likes of Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Nickelback, will land at the Cheese and Grain in Frome on November 10 next year.

They will be in Somerset as part of their Celebrate tour, which will see them perform their debut self-titled album in full during the first half, before a second half of other classics and new material.

It comes as the debut long-player marks two decades since it was unleashed on rock fans around the world, bringing the band to global attention.

“UK, get ready,” the band said. “The Celebrate Tour is coming over to you with an extra special two-part evening planned.

“The first set will be our first album played all the way through to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The second set will be some oldies but goodies along with some of the brand new music.”

Tickets for Black Stone Cherry at the Cheese and Grain in Frome will be available in a pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday (December 10), before a general sale from 10am on Friday (December 12). Tickets cost £44, plus a standard service charge, via cheeseandgrain.com/events/black-stone-cherry.
