A CENTURY on two wheels will be marked during a Somerset auction next month.
On October 3, the Charterhouse Classic Motorcycle Auction will take place at Haynes Motor Museum.
And organisers said the sale will feature around 140 motorcycles – ranging from the early 20th century to the last decade.
“We have another great selection of 140 motorcycles dating from a 1912 Humber to a 2019 Kawasaki,” said Charterhouse expert, George Beale. “From unreserved bikes to rides estimated at £50,000 there is something for all pockets.”
The auction is set to feature road, race, trail, speedway, touring, show and even monkey bikes.
Some are ready to ride, some need re-commissioning and some need full restoration – perfect as winter projects.
Viewing for the auction, at the Haynes Motor Museum, takes place on Wednesday, October 2, and on the auction day.
All lots, and live internet bidding, are available via charterhouse-auction.com.
George and the Charterhouse team can be contacted for advice and valuations on classic motorcycles, cars and automobilia, at The Long Street Salerooms, Sherborne, on 01935 812277, or by email to bikes@charterhouse-auction.com.
