A woman contacted the Police after a male exposed himself to her in Zembard Lane, Chard. The incident happened at around 9pm last Wednesday (23 June). The victim has been offered access to support services.

The male is described as being in his late teens or early 20s. He was of slim build, with brown hair and was wearing a dark coat or jumper. He had black tracksuit bottoms with white patches on the inside leg from the knee down.

Police have increased patrols in the area to reassure the public. Sergeant Rob Jameson told us “We understand there will be concern in the local community after this incident .“
