RESURFACING work will begin on a busy route between Wellington and Taunton TONIGHT.
The A38 road will close from 7.30pm at the Chelston Roundabout, with the roadworks making their way to Taunton over the coming weeks.
“A short section at World’s End junction is excluded due to planned works later this year,” a Somerset Council spokesperson said.
During the work tonight (February 26), there will be no access to the M5/Wellington, with a signed diversion for most vehicles via the M5 in operation.
Non‑motorway traffic will be diverted via Trull and Blackdown.
