MORE than 250 voices are set to sing in harmony at a special concert next month.
Rock Choir in Somerset and North Somerset are planning to celebrate their 10th year in the county with a huge charity show at The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare, raising funds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
On March 20, choir leader, Mike Aris, will lead hundreds of choir members from Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Taunton, Clevedon and Burnham-on-Sea in Rock Choir Rocks The Pier! for the hospice cause.
It comes after the choirs performed three theatre shows for charity in 2024, and a triumphant recording session at Abbey Road Studios in 2025.
Now, they are ready to Rock The Pier, with more than 250 Rock Choir performers set to take on pop and rock hits from across the decades.
“Expect high-energy rock anthems, to reflective ballads, and everything in-between,” a spokesperson said.
“Guaranteed to get you singing, dancing and clapping along, this 10 year anniversary show is not to be missed.”
