Newton Faulkner heading to Frome – and you can take your guitar!

GUITAR players will be excited to see virtuoso songwriter Newton Faulkner in Somerset this summer – and could even get some tips from the man himself.

Faulkner, who shot to stardom on the back of his hit Dream Catch Me, is set to perform at the Cheese and Grain, Frome, on Thursday, June 11.

As well as regular tickets for the show being on sale at £33.50 plus a standard service charge, guitar players can also sign up for special VIP and guitar workshop entry – but there are a very limited number available.

“Newton Faulkner is continually adjusting to a music landscape dominated by flux, he’s moved from the phenomenal success of his debut album Hand Built By Robots to the surging triumph of Write It On Your Skin; from Studio Zoo – which was the first album ever to be live streamed online while being recorded, and was also recorded and released in just five weeks – to the sumptuous Human Love, plus multiple other records over his incredible 15 year career so far,” a spokesperson said.

His latest long-player, Octopus, is out now.

And those signing up for VIP or guitar workshop tickets can get early access to the Frome venue, meet Newton in person before the show, and take home a signed souvenir package.

The guitar workshop will allow fans to bring along their guitars and get a tip or two from the man himself, as well as enjoying the benefits of VIP tickets – starting three hours before the show.
