A MAN suffered a fractured skull after being hit by a car outside a Somerset supermarket.
Police are appealing for information after an incident in Nailsea High Street at around 6pm on December 4.
“A car pulled out of a bay in a supermarket car park on High Street and collided with a man, in his early 50s,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
The man fell to the ground and banged his head, they said, and initially went home but went to hospital after becoming unwell.
He is now receiving treatment for a fractured skull, they added.
CCTV enquiries have been carried out, a police spokesperson said, and witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident should contact them on 101, quoting reference number 5225346934.
