WELLINGTON is offering free parking to shoppers in the run-up to Christmas.
Car parks run by the town council will be free on the Saturdays running up to the big day, starting this weekend.
The spaces, at car parks in North Street, South Street, and Longforth Road, will be free to use on November 29, as well as on December 6, 13 and 20.
“We hope that locals and visitors can make use of this and support our lovely town centre businesses this festive season,” a Wellington Town Council spokesperson said.
It comes after Taunton Town Council also announced it would be making its car parks free in the run-up to Christmas.
