DETAILS of the Christmas Lights Switch-On event in Yeovil have been revealed.

The event, which will take place in the town centre’s new amphitheatre in Lower Middle Street, is set to run from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday (November 22).

“We’ve got a fantastic lineup planned, including special appearances from the Beauty & The Beast Panto Stars Kevin James (Crackers), Andrew Williams (Dame Gertie Lush), Lottie Mae O’Kill (Belle) and Hayley Jo Murphy (Fairy Halstock),” a spokesperson said.

The schedule for the performance area at the Yeovil Christmas Lights event is:
4pm: Eminence Dance Academy
4.30pm: Octagon Choir
5pm: Castaways
5.30pm: Rock Choir
6pm: Westland Pantomime Stars
6.30pm: Christmas Light Switch-On
6.35pm: Bronté Cheshire

Elsewhere, stilt walkers will be making their way around the town on the night, along with representatives from Yeovil Town Football Club, the Mayor of Yeovil, and the town crier.

“Come along, bring your family and friends, and kick off the festive season with us,” the spokesperson added.
