Passion for property sees Ben land a new role at GTH

A PASSION for property has led Ben O’Brien to a new position at a Somerset property firm.

Ben has recently been appointed to the New Homes Department at Greenslade Taylor Hunt (GTH) following an extensive career in the property industry, most recently as a branch manager of a leading Somerset estate agency.

He particularly enjoyed working with developers as part of his former role and will concentrate on that area at GTH.

His role, as a new homes area account manager, will see Ben looking after GTH’s housebuilder clients across Somerset and Dorset.

Owen Setter, head of new homes, said: “I am delighted that Ben has joined our successful New Homes Team.

“His appointment is a key step in the department’s growth, increasing our ability to offer the highest standards of new homes sales advice and customer service across the width and breadth of GTH’s area of operation.”

Growing up in Sweden, Ben took an interest in architecture and enjoyed drawing property from an early age.

He moved to the UK more than a decade ago and began working for his uncle’s recruitment agency where he met his wife.

However, his interest in property remained and he was delighted to embark on a role in estate agency, where he quickly progressed through the ranks and became a branch manager within three years.

Away from work, Ben enjoys exploring the Somerset countryside with his wife, Claudia, and young son, Aben, and their two dogs, Winston and Luna. He also helps out on his wife’s family farm.
