A PERSON was freed form wreckage after a crash near Taunton this morning.
Emergency services were sent to the scene, on the A38 near Bradford-on-Tone, at just after 6.45am on Thursday morning (October 16).
Firefighters from Taunton and Wellington were among them, with a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson saying there was a “person trapped”.
“Crews made the vehicle safe and used hydraulic power tools and small tools to extricate the casualty,” they added.
The person is not believed to have suffered injuries considered life-threatening or life-changing.
The road was closed between the junction with Silver Street and Sheppy’s Cider, but re-opened at around 10am.
