A CAR was “100% destroyed” by fire in a South Somerset village this morning.
Firefighters from Martock were sent to the scene, in Stoke sub Hamdon, at just after 4.50am today (October 14) after reports of a vehicle on fire.
One fire engine was sent out and the crew used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
A Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed the car was “100% destroyed by fire”.
