PUBLICAN Ray Green has scooped more than £800 in a free online lottery – for living Weston-super-Mare.

The 63-year old publican scooped £818.18 on the free online lottery website, Pick My Postcode.

Members of the site, which is funded by advertising, register their postcode to being with the chance of scooping a cash prize.

By checking back daily, they can also pick up a bonus pot, which grows each time they visit, complete a survey, or take up extra offers.

For Ray, who joined the site in 2015, his bonus pot sat at £818.18, which was what he won.

So far, Pick My Postcode said it has given away more than £3 million pounds to members, including bonus pots.

“Where else can you win free cash just for checking your postcode daily and taking advantage of some decent offers as well? I can’t thank the staff that run this site enough as every penny helps at the moment,” he said.

“I’m pretty sure anyone can spend less than five minutes a day to check all the draws and possibly win something for nothing.”

Ray plans to use his winnings to help cover his energy bills and said he would carry on checking the site in the hope of securing another payout.

“Another good thing is my bonus does not disappear but carries on increasing by the day and there is no limit to how many times you can win,” he added.

“I know I am going to continue checking and also tell as many people as possible because the more people in it the bigger the payouts get.”

The site offers multiple opportunities for members’ postcode to be picked each day.

Pick My Postcode has 6,104 active members in Somerset and since 2011, the residents have won a total of £55,531.96.
