A MAIN route between Crewkerne and East Chinnock will close for resurfacing works next month.
The A30 will be closed between 9.30am and 3pm on Monday, September 8, and on Wednesday, September 10, for the works.
It will be open on September 9, and outside those hours, with a diversion in place via the A303 and A3088.
Crewkerne Town Council said: “Work will begin at East Chinnock and progress toward Crewkerne to minimise disruption.
“After the junction with the A3066 (Haselbury Plucknett), access between Crewkerne and Yeovil should remain possible via Misterton.”
