A MAN was arrested in Shepton Mallet on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication online with a child.
Police said the man, in his 70s, was questioned before being released on conditional bail – to an address outside of the Somerset town – on July 20.
“Our investigation continues,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said. “We hope this update provides some clarity and reassurance about the current situation.”
