A POPULAR Somerset café is set to be sold, the owner has announced.

The Feed Station, at Sandy Hole, Merriott, is set to be put on the market – but customers are being reassured it won’t close any time soon.

A statement from the café owner said: “I want you to be the first to know that after a lot of deliberation, I have decided that the time has come for me to sell the café.

“It has been a very hard decision, I love the café, its great team and you, our lovely customers, but sometimes hard decisions must be made.

“Please don’t worry, everything will carry on as usual. We will take our time to find the right buyer for such a special place.

“We look forward to seeing you soon.”
