A PERSON was freed from a car after a crash near Langport last night (July 10).
Firefighters, police and the ambulance service were sent to the incident, at Long Sutton, at just before 10.45pm after reports of a two-vehicle crash.
Fire crews from Martock and Somerton attended and found one person still trapped in a vehicle at the scene, believed to have been on the A372.
“Crew got to work stabilising the vehicle before successfully performing a door removal using hydraulic cutting equipment,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“The passenger within the car was successfully rescued and was provided with first aid treatment with paramedics who were also on scene.”
