Converted barn – with views of Glastonbury Festival site – up for sale: Here’s how much…

WAKING up to views of the Glastonbury Festival site could be a reality for the buyers of a property in Pilton that’s gone on sale.

The “unique” converted barn, which has an asking price of £2.5 million, stands in meadows above Pilton – home to the festival.

“The property enjoys complete privacy and unrivalled panoramic views across the surrounding countryside and festival site,” said agent Roderick Thomas, which is marketing the two- to three-bed property.

“A drive leads through fields to the house which has great charm and appeal and includes a garden room, two reception rooms, kitchen, utility room, conservatory, study, 2/3 bedrooms (both en-suite), additional shower room and a first-floor office, plus a large first-floor terrace,” the listing said.

“Outside are stores, a small easily managed garden, wonderful viewing points and gently sloping meadows.”

The property is set in around four and a half acres and is listed with a guide price of ‘in excess of £2.5m’.
