A TRACTOR was badly damaged by fire near Galhampton.
Firefighters from Wincanton, Castle Cary and Yeovil were sent to the scene at around 7.30am on Tuesday morning (June 17).
“On arrival crews confirmed this tractor was well alight and extinguished the fire using hose reel jets, foam jet, breathing apparatus and a thermal image camera,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“The tractor was 20 per cent damaged by fire, which was confined to the engine compartment. The cause of the fire was accidental.”
