UPDATE: Two people were left with ‘serious injuries’ after a crash involving a pedestrian and a motorbike near Glastonbury.
The incident, on the B3151 between Meare and Glastonbury, happened at just before 10am, police said.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area while emergency services were on the scene, with the road closed in both directions.
A CRASH has closed a road between Meare and Glastonbury.
Avon & Somerset Police said emergency services are at the scene of a “collision” on the B3151.
“The road is currently closed in both directions and police request people seek an alternative route at this moment in time,” a spokesperson said.

The road is very in need of repair and not patching as the normal job being done in most places I have seen about.what about warning signs slow down farming fields.
