Man punched after road-rage row on A303 through Somerset

A MAN was punched in a layby on the A303 after a “road-related incident”, police said.

The confrontation unfolded between Sparkford and Wincanton at around 10.50am on Tuesday, April 1, after a blue Volvo XC60 and a white Range Rover pulled over.

“A man who had been the passenger in a blue Volvo XC60 reportedly punched and threatened the man driving the other car, a white Range Rover,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“If you can help with any footage or information, please contact us.”
